Enrollment Resources for Families and Students
To enroll in SPS schools, students must live within the district attendance boundaries. We welcome enrollment of non-resident students if they have been approved a choice transfer request. Read more about non-resident students.
Key Dates
January 2 New registrations for 2024-25 school year begins.
February 1 – February 29 Open Enrollment School Choice priority applications will be accepted (tiebreakers apply).
March 1 – May 31 School Choice late applications will be accepted (NOT eligible for tiebreakers).
April 16 Open Enrollment results will be available online.
June 3 – August 31 Non-resident applications will be accepted.
August 31 Waitlists for the 2024-25 school year will dissolve.
Enroll My Student
If your child is 5 by August 31, you can enroll them in kindergarten for that year! Parents and guardians can enroll their students for the current school year online or in person at the John Stanford Center.
We are here to help answer registration, enrollment, and assignment questions. Help is available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Amharic, Somali or Vietnamese.
